If the last power breakfast you had was a power bar, sounds like it's time someone headed to newport yoga.
The name Power Yoga says it all. It is a jam-packed hour with several types of rigorous full-body workouts, so that you get the benefits of intense exercising and the concentration and balance that yoga brings.
According to ABC of Yoga.com Power Yoga is done by doing a series of Yoga Poses while synchronizing one's breathing patterns to each movement, resulting in actions with perfect unity and grace. The process is like a vigorous exercise, pushing and contorting every limb to its limit while maintaining a strong sense of inner peace and concentration to pull off each move flawlessly and gracefully.
I know that an hour of Power for me, made all the wine drinking from the night before guilt free. I have never sweat that much in a yoga class and could feel my muscles for the rest of the weekend (in a good, wow, I actually worked-out kind of way).
The Saturday morning Power Yoga class is now a regular part of my exercise regime. I might not buy spinach when it comes to feeling powerful (shoes are way more important), but I do make sure to attend the power yoga weekend morning sessions.
